Food for thought, anyway =|;)

At what point do we now consider an act treason? It seems to have gotten quite blurry over the past 40 some-odd years. Legal rights of POWs, outside of military justice & the Geneva Conention, were never considered during WWII. If a country that WAS NOT a signatory to the Geneva Conventions attacked us or provided aid & support to the enemy, then the rights of the Geneva Conventions did NOT apply.

When a nation at war considers war crimes a "criminal act" where participants are entitled to the SAME rights as US citizens. Rather than a war crime committed by enemy combatents NOT wearing. an enemy UNIFORM, then they are SPIES by definition and not entitled to any rights under a US court and are ONLY accountable through a Military Tribunal that can (and should) be able to rule for a death penalty that is carried out ASAP.

If, as a nation, we refuse to identify our enemy EXPLICITLY and refuse to engage them on their turf; the enemy will define us on HIS terms and based upon our present (and past - ie Viet Nam, Korea) position, I don't think our country can make "long term" committments anymore.

We"Cuh" heading toward an election that the most "dovish" candidate may win numerically, simply becuase of negative feelings about the present President or the regular supplies that are sent to the "big beach".

I'll call you when I get into the system this afternoon / or early loft / chip onto the green.
